Lisa Crawford joined the Center for Literacy, Education & Employment in April 2005. She is an Associate Director for the School and Family Team, with a current focus on support of professional development for K-12 school psychologists in TN. Previously, she served for two years as program administrator for the Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Adult Education Professional Development Grant, assisting to support a wide range of professional development, program management, and curriculum design projects. In addition, her previous work with the Center includes administrative support, event coordination and development of resources for the School and Family Team projects including work with Even Start, Reading First, and school improvement grants in Tennessee. Lisa’s strengths include the development of video and online resources for practitioners and learners.
Lisa graduated magna cum laude from King College in Tennessee, with a degree in Behavioral Science and a minor in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood Development. She earned her Grant Writing Certification in 2008.
Lisa loves traveling and spending time with her two faithful canine companions, Jack and Jethro.
