A common theme of our work at the Center for Literacy, Education and Employment (CLEE) is building capacity to develop systems that can meet the needs of a changing society. We see research as a cornerstone of this work. Committed to research-based continuous improvement and the smooth transfer of relevant research to practice, the Center sees the involvement of partners, practitioners and learners as central to improved learning, effective professional development, and sustained system change efforts.
The Center has extensive experience in designing and conducting research and evaluation projects utilizing a variety of traditional and innovative approaches. We have served as evaluators for many national, state, district and school-wide programs and initiatives. In addition, the Center has multiple research projects reflective of our expertise in a wide range of research methods and educational content.
